Professor Abdulhusein H. PALIWALA is Director of International Development Law and Human Rights, Law Courseware Consortium, Electronic Law Journals. Senior Consultant (ICT) UK Centre for Legal Education; Associate, Centre for Globalisation and Regionalisation.
He is on the Justice Sector Consultant Panel, Department for International Development and was the lead EU Consultant, Democratisation and Human Rights in Malawi 1996-7. He has held a wide range of consultancies on human rights resource centres and on C&IT development and advice in Hungary and India.
Professor Paliwala has previously worked at the University of Papua New Guinea, University of Dar-es-Salaam and the Queen's University of Belfast. His main current research is in the areas of Globalisation and Legal Regulation of the Digital Divide, Law and Economy in Developing Countries and Information Technology in Legal Education.
