Rakesh Mohan Goyal is the Director of Centre for Research & Prevention of Computer Crimes, India (CRPCC) and Managing Director of Sysman Computers Ltd., Mumbai . He is engaged in IS Security, IS Audit and Forensics since 1991.
He is also the Editor of CCCNews Newsletter, CCCNews Magazine all exclusive publications on IT Security with over 100,000 subscribers.
Eng. Rakesh has been member of various government committees relating to IT Act and chaired some technical / audit committees; expert committees regarding IS Security, IT Act and PKI. He is in the process of setting-up an University exclusively for IS Security.
He is an Engineering Graduate with Gold Medal; an MBA from I.I.M.-Bangalore with Gold Medal. He also holds certifications Chartered Engineer, CISA, CISM, CCCI, CMC and CFE. He has authored 6 books and over 50 papers/articles on IT Security, some of these are discussed in national/international conferences. He was awarded the Young Consultant Award for 1990 by CDC/Govt. of India. In his 34 years of career, he has done over 2000 IT security assignments.
